Metra is a commuter railroad serving the greater Chicagoland area. Operating on 11 different rail lines with more than 200 stations, it is the fourth busiest commuter rail system in the United States by ridership. Metra trains originate from one of four downtown stations and radiate out to the surrounding area and suburbs.
