We’re continuing our celebration of the United States turning 250—and this week, we’re adding four new postcards to the collection.
Each design highlights a historic document that helped build the country—and still shapes the freedoms we live by today.
It started with the Declaration of Independence.
Adopted on July 4, 1776, the Declaration announced the American colonies’ break from British rule and laid out the principles behind that daring decision:

We then move to the writing of the preamble to the Declaration, featuring the famous painting by Jean Leon Gerome Ferris showing Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, and John Adams reviewing the draft:

Next is the Constitution itself.
Featuring Howard Chandler Christy's painting, the postcard depicts the 39 delegates signing the U.S. Constitution at Independence Hall in Philadelphia on September 17, 1787:

And finally, the Bill of Rights—the first ten amendments to the U.S. Constitution. Crafted by James Madison, they protect individual liberties and serve as the cornerstone of American democracy:

So whether you're a lifelong history buff or someone inspiring the next generation, these postcards are a beautiful way to honor 250 years of liberty and continue the tradition of telling the American story.
