This year’s World Postcard Day postcard design has been a big hit.
We recently received word that the USPS has officially approved a pictorial postmark for World Postcard Day 2026.
The postmark was once again commissioned by Trevor B. and designed by artist Oce around this year’s theme: “Paper Bridges.”
The design may look familiar. Oce also created this year’s official Postcrossing World Postcard Day postcard design. How cool is that?
Would you like your World Postcard Day postcards to receive this special postmark? Here’s what to do:
Decide where you want the postcard to go:

Want it mailed to someone? Address the postcard, add postage, and write your message as usual.

Want it returned to you? Add postage to the postcard and include a self-addressed return envelope with the correct postage.
