Greetings from Route 66 Texas Map Postcard

Once the shortest all-weather route between Chicago, IL and Los Angeles, CA — historic Route 66 travels through 8 states. In Texas, the nearly 200-mile stretch is almost completely flat devoid of trees and other features. A majority of the old route has been replaced by Interstate 40, though old US-66 still survives in several ghost towns along the way.
