National Park Week 2025 is just around the corner (April 19 to April 27), and it’s the perfect time to celebrate America’s incredible national parks—even if you haven’t planned a visit yet.
This annual nine-day celebration, established in 1991, highlights the beauty, history, and ecological importance of these treasured places.
We thought it was the perfect time to share a fun idea: why not send one of our National Park postcards from the park you visit?

Kickoff with Free Admission
On April 19, all National Parks that typically charge an entrance fee will offer FREE admission. It’s a great chance to explore without the usual cost.

Special Events All Week Long
Each day during National Park Week features unique themes and activities. Here are a couple of highlights:
- Junior Ranger Day (April 19): Kids can earn Junior Ranger badges through fun, hands-on activities.
- Earth Day (April 22): Parks will host clean-up events and educational programs.
Whether you love to hike, volunteer, or just soak in the beauty, this week is all about reconnecting with nature and celebrating conservation.

Make Your Postcards Even More Special
Whenever you visit a national park, consider adding an extra touch to your postcards with the Passport to Your National Parks program.
This program features unique ink stamps—including the park name and date—at park visitor centers and stores. These stamps are free, often self-serve, and serve as a fun way to document your visit.
You can also use these stamps to make your Christopher Arndt National Park Postcards truly one-of-a-kind by stamping them at the park. It’s a creative way to commemorate your trip and create a personalized postcard keepsake.
Learn more about the program by visiting the America's National Parks website.
