2025 Lunar New Year Stamp

2025 Lunar New Year Stamp

Christopher Arndt |

Today, the U.S. Postal Service is releasing their "Year of the Snake" stamp—the 6th stamp in their 12-stamp Lunar New Year series.

In the United States, we mark January 1 as the beginning of the new year, but many cultures across Asia celebrate the Lunar New Year, which arrives on January 29th (the second new moon after the winter solstice).

This deeply significant celebration—considered the most important festival of the year—officially begins on Lunar New Year's Eve (January 28th) and continues for 15-16 days, concluding with the vibrant Lantern Festival on February 12th, 2025.

Combined with our limited-edition postcard, this stamp+postcard combo creates a cool and memorable keepsake!
