In case you didn't hear, the price of postage stamps is going up on January 22, 2023.
- A first-class stamp will increase from 60¢ to 63¢.
- A domestic postcard stamp will increase from 44¢ to 48¢.
- An international postcard stamp will increase from $1.40 to $1.45.

But did you know, even with the postage rate increases, the USPS continues to remain among the world’s most affordable?
For a little background on the issue, these 6-month rate increases are the result of the Postal Service’s 10-year plan for achieving financial sustainability and service excellence under the leadership of Postmaster DeJoy. With full implementation, the 10-year plan reverses a projected $160 billion in losses over the next 10 years.
